The “Rona” got you down? Me too! With everything shutting down and closing, that means all of our Jeep events are cancelling or rescheduling as well. We are all sitting at home dreaming of seeing our jeep friends again.

So what the heck is going on with our events? I know all of the industry folks are ready to get back at it and trying to readjust to the ever changing circumstances and mandates. As hotels and restaurants were limited to half capacity, the next day followed with shutting things down. Things were uncertain with the gloomy cloud that hung over our start of the event season as well as wheeling trips. As everyone was getting ready and packed up, it was put to an abrupt stop

On March 18th an emergency order in certain counties in Utah, including Moab, were put into place limiting attendance at events creating a snowball effect for Easter Jeep Safari. First came the vendor show cancellation followed with shutting the town down for fear of being overrun by tourists and the EJS jeepers that wanted to do trail runs still. With limited supplies in the Moab community as grocery stores were being wiped clean and the small hospital’s in fear of having limited resources if people got sick,  the town shut down. For the first time in 53 years the Red Rock 4 wheelers association had to cancel this year’s Easter Jeep Safari. Then the reality of what was to come for the upcoming event calendar seemed bleak. As you know, Corey and I travel the country attending Jeep events and visiting with jeepers along with the CTI trailer. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon and love our passion for the jeep community!

Soon followed the cancellation of Jeep Beach in Daytona! We would have been on the road already for our long journey to Florida, and after that was MayDay Miami, now cancelled as well. As the jeep events fell like dominoes, we prepared to sit still for a bit. Now it’s been a month of sitting, and like most, we are over it. Surely there is a light at the end?  We have faith that we will get back at it soon. In an attempt to keep everyone informed of events that have rescheduled and that we are still planning to attend, here is the low down.

EJS is cancelled and has no plans at this time to reschedule.

Jeep Beach has been rescheduled to Sept 11-13th

MayDay Miami is rescheduled till next year, 2021.

May events are still up in the air but scheduled, unless something changes.

Bantam, NJ Jeep invasion, Ohio Jeep Fest and Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion are still on schedule  at this time. We have other stops planned as long as everything gets back up and running.

Most events beyond these couple months are still on schedule, with the exception of some small meet and greets at the 1st of May. I hope that nothing else gets cancelled, but we will keep you updated as we find out more.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone soon and get back to a normal Jeep life!

Stay Safe. Stay Healthy!
