Hello ModernJeepers, welcome to Episode Number 72 of The ModernJeeper Show… the show about Jeeps, Jeeping and Jeepers.

With all of the craziness going on in our world, some days we just have to throw our hands up, take a breath, and remember how we got here. It seems that planning for pretty much anything is a true challenge. Jeep events, including our very own Modern Jeeper Adventures trips to Tillamook, OR and the Rubicon Trail have been put off for now. Even the events that had postponed are now starting to throw in the towel and just wait until next year. There are a few that are still trying to hold on, including one of our favorites, The Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion in Pigeon Forge, TN. I know our fingers are crossed that it still happens.

With the 4th of July happening this weekend, we know you are all still planning on celebrating our freedoms…the best way we know how, by getting outside in our Jeeps! Many of us still have projects we are working on and that might be how you plan on celebrating this important holiday…but either way, cheers to our country and our freedoms that we still have!

I spent a few hours this morning with my friends at a local shop tearing apart an ARB air locker to fix an internal leak. For our Tech Tip of the Week, we chat about air lockers; what you should check; why your compressor might be running non stop; and how to fix it. Stay tuned for some video of what that project looks like as well!

After 23 years of corporate life, I decided to pursue my passions in the off road industry. Specializing in marketing, visibility, relationship and brand building, and acting as MetalCloak's field marketing representative, I have travelled across the country (quite a few times!) using Metalcloak’s CTI (Corner Travel Index) to educate the off road enthusiast. I have also worked with Jeep Jamboree USA as event staff, to provide additional value and education to its participants. I've been fortunate enough to work with both international as well as domestic media; have attended most of the off-road events across our country; and have driven a wide variety of vehicles.
