Hello ModernJeepers, welcome to Episode Number 55 of The ModernJeeper Show… the show about Jeeps, Jeeping and Jeepers!
Literally this place called Death Valley has taken the words away from me. I’m not really sure what I expected, but what I got hit me like a ton of bricks. In this episode, Matson and myself start a daily audio dairy on the night before we begin the first Adventure of 3 nights and 4 days in Death Valley. And, as usual, our great intentions to do a nightly “recap” got lost as we became immersed into this amazing area made up of over 3 million acres of National Park.
To all the off-roaders, adventure seekers and adrenalin junkies out there…this is not the place you think it is! It is FAR FAR more. Our words can’t describe what this place is really like…and neither can the images. The only thing I can suggest is for you to experience it for yourself. I can tell you that it is not the boring desert wasteland that you might think it is. You could spend a lifetime out here exploring, wheeling and learning about the history of this mysterious place.
With trip one of our Death Valley Adventure over, Matson has headed back to the office but I will be spending another 4 days out in this amazing part of our country!
