As Jeep owners, we all want to feel secure, especially when we have our tops off (our Jeeps!). There are many security options out there but we also like to maximize the space we have, fit more into that space, and keep thieves from taking our things. I found that the best solution for my rig was a security enclosure made by Diabolical Inc., called the SlipStream. Not only is it secure it can be customized with a few more space saving accessories they offer to organize your things. Strong and sturdy you can even stand on it!
Owner and developer Alan Huggett started his career in drafting and architecture with 30 years in the USAF and aircraft experience. He designed the Slipstream storage system with close tolerances, and quality fit and finish. He put his aviation design background into his product. The Slipstream is lightweight, multi use, safe and secure. One size doesn’t fit all, but with their unique design, it allows for installation in almost any type of vehicle. The ease of installation, great videos and personal customer service of all of their products is key.
From the TJ , to the JK, and the JL … 2 door to 4 door, Slipstream systems are available, as well as some cool add-on pieces to customize and personalize it. When installing the enclosure you must follow the steps to the “T”. I am first to admit that I hate directions and typically just go with it. Not in this case…as I soon found out why you have to do things in order and not get into a rush. It can take roughly 4 hours to install from watching videos and putting it together as you go. So if I can give anyone some advice, the most important thing is to do the steps in order and not be in a hurry…and having an extra set of hands makes it easier! It’s pretty simple once you get it all lined out and ready to start.
Have fun watching my time lapse video of my install with Laura Robinson!
