Reaching the half way point of the 4 day event known as The SEMA Show, is an accomplishment in itself. Sore feet, sore legs and navigating through the huge crowds of people can be truly exhausting each day…but that doesn’t stop the Modern Jeeper!

Day two took us through the New Products Showcase, where there are approximately 3000 new  and innovative products on display. From tool cabinets, to wiring harnesses, bumpers, lights, suspension kits and wheels, each manufacturer can submit their product for a little more visibility from media and other jobbers.

So…new product? Really? A drill turning a trailer jack handle? We think we’ve seen that a few times before!

We also wanted to show our readers some builds that were a little different than what we typically see…even if they aren’t Jeeps…but we still focus on the offroad build and lifestyle!

Imagine trying to navigate through 70,000+ people, spread out over a million square feet in 7 halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center, filled with auto industry “stuff”! It is a crazy 4 days and we still have 2 to go!

After 23 years of corporate life, I decided to pursue my passions in the off road industry. Specializing in marketing, visibility, relationship and brand building, and acting as MetalCloak's field marketing representative, I have travelled across the country (quite a few times!) using Metalcloak’s CTI (Corner Travel Index) to educate the off road enthusiast. I have also worked with Jeep Jamboree USA as event staff, to provide additional value and education to its participants. I've been fortunate enough to work with both international as well as domestic media; have attended most of the off-road events across our country; and have driven a wide variety of vehicles. I'm a certified PADI scuba instructor and have a BS in Computer Science.
