It’s a crazy time for everyone right now. Many of us are struggling to maintain a good life balance and juggle all the hardships the COVID pandemic has caused, myself included. We all saw 2020 going so differently, but that doesn’t mean we can’t turn this year around. With Jeep event after Jeep event being cancelled, it can feel daunting not to have anything “big” to look forward to. I personally couldn’t wait for Jeep Beach in Daytona this year, but unfortunately the universe had different plans.

But don’t worry! The official Jeep Beach may be postponed or possibly canceled, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have your own Jeep Beach. Although I don’t suggest traveling anytime soon, I do recommend planning some fun trips much later in the year. That being said, you can still plan a belated trip to Florida and stick your toes (and tires) in some sand.

Daytona Beach is the world’s most famous beach, and home of some legendary events including Bike Week and of course, Jeep Beach. Daytona is a big area with tons of shops, restaurants, lodging and more. With over 23 miles of white sand beaches, you can still practice social distancing later on this year. Daytona Beach is also home to the infamous Daytona International Speedway for all you people with the need for speed.

Located not too far north of Daytona Beach is Jacksonville, Florida. This major city is actually the biggest city by area in the entire USA, offering a ton of places to hit the beach both in your Jeep and on foot. Jacksonville also has largest urban park system in the country, with more than 80,000 acres to explore of parks, gardens and arboretums.

I know a day at the beach sounds absolutely perfect right now, but hang in there everyone! We will all get through this together. Thanks for checking out my blog, I hope you enjoyed it 🙂
