A Slick Jeep Infotainment Upgrade
New Product News November 9, 2020 ModernJeeper
The JL Jeep Wrangler and JT Gladiator already have some great tech onboard, but you’ll have to upgrade to higher trim levels to get the top of the line 8.4 inch display and all of the features that come with it.
If you’re wanting to bump up that screen size in a lower trim Jeep Gladiator or Wrangler, or you aren’t a fan of the Uconnect system in general, the aftermarket has you covered. Stinger, a major aftermarket screen company specializing in road cars, ATVs and boats, have just dropped their new fully integrated HEIGH10 infotainment system for the Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator.
The Stinger built screen features a high-resolution, 10-inch capacitive touchscreen with 16.7 million colors for a full visual experience.
For the 2018-2020 Wrangler JL and 202 Gladiator JT, the Heigh10 system retains all of the integrated stock system electronic controls:
All factory cameras in full high-definition
Dual and single zone factory climate control module
Factory amplifier
Factory USB ports
Safety group chimes, including ParkSense®
Steering wheel controls
Auxiliary switch panel
Heated seats / heated steering wheel
On-screen vehicle settings menu
It also provides user customized screens enhanced with Jeep off-road data including:
Transfer case
Current position (latitude/longitude)
Altitude
Steering angle
Tire pressure with custom pressure threshold
Current vehicle status – including door open/closed/removed
View and clear check engine status
