If you have been holding out for the Jeep Gladiator 4xe, it could be a while…like until 2024.
We all know and understand that our beloved manufacturer has been BUSY! Keeping up with market demands, global supply chain issue and the competition takes a lot of energy! The popular Jeep Wrangler 4xe has proven to be a contender in the “electrified” vehicle market and not just for the off-road enthusiast.
At present, the Wrangler 4xe mashes together a 2.0L turbocharged four-banger with two electric motors, all paired with a familiar eight-speed automatic, with up to 25 miles of electric-only range and nearly 400 miles of total range, and produces 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque…currently. Those numbers may even change slightly for 2023. But Jeep will also be working on the mid-cycle refresh of the Wrangler which is why resources are saying 2024 for the Gladiator 4xe release. Assembly of the Wrangler 4xe, including its 17 kilowatt-hour battery pack takes place at FCA’s Toledo Assembly Complex and the Gladiator is manufactured at the Toledo Supplier Park in Toledo, Ohio.
