We have been talking about the future Jeep vehicles for the past year now, and if you were paying attention you have heard us say the electric vehicle is coming…no matter what YOU want. In fact, the EV’s are coming so quickly that Europe will no longer bring in any other Wrangler than the hybrid!<\/p>\n

We have talked about connectivity and software systems…and by that we mean connectivity between vehicles. Like most “news” stories, all of these comments typically fall on deaf ears, with the typically response being “well, it will never effect me…”. Guess what? As part of Stellantis Software Day<\/a>, today the Jeep\u00ae brand posted “Freedom Connected,” a video that provides a glimpse into how the Jeep community could personalize and enhance their off-road experience in the future with the use of connected software technology. The piece explores ideas, such as a subscription service offering pre-loaded trails, over-the-air updates, vehicle-to-vehicle communication capabilities \u2013 even without cellular connectivity \u2013 and augmented reality display.<\/p>\n
