The Toledo Jeep Plant Fight Continues
Industry News April 13, 2015 ModernJeeper
The city of Toledo Ohio continues to offer incentives, enticements and even finance packages in its hopes to continue to house the plant that builds the Jeep Wrangler. The Wrangler has been built in Toledo uninterrupted since 1992, but current demand for the vehicle has pushed production to the limit. Workers built 235,948 Wranglers last year, up about 6 percent from 2013, and far more than the plant was ever supposed to accommodate.
