Hello Modern Jeepers and welcome to Episode Number 6 of The ModernJeeper Show! This week we have an awesome guest… straight from the folks that keep us out of the elements while in our rigs, Mr. Lee Loughery (pronounced Lawfree) of Bestop.

While Matson is out taking care of our first MJ Adventure in Death Valley, I have a great conversation with Lee where we not only talk about the upcoming event season, but also about Bestop the company, the relationships and connections with some of their recent  acquisitions, how Lee ended up in Colorado and what he has done to modify his personal 2012 2 door JK. We even talk about some of his favorite trails…

Finally we will share with you our TechTip of the Week where Lee gives us some great insight on what it takes to care for the softop on your rig, including some info about the fabrics used, caring for the zippers and the windows as well…

As always, ModernJeeper is extremely grateful to our supporters including Warn Winches, Raceline Wheels, Bestop, Milestar Tires, Rugged Radios and, of course, Metalcloak.

After 23 years of corporate life, I decided to pursue my passions in the off road industry. Specializing in marketing, visibility, relationship and brand building, and acting as MetalCloak's field marketing representative, I have travelled across the country (quite a few times!) using Metalcloak’s CTI (Corner Travel Index) to educate the off road enthusiast. I have also worked with Jeep Jamboree USA as event staff, to provide additional value and education to its participants. I've been fortunate enough to work with both international as well as domestic media; have attended most of the off-road events across our country; and have driven a wide variety of vehicles. I'm a certified PADI scuba instructor and have a BS in Computer Science.
