Hello ModernJeepers welcome to Episode Number 79 of The ModernJeeper Show… the show about Jeeps, Jeeping and Jeepers.

This week Matson catches up with Corey and Jessy as they return from the Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion. After 3 full days of an amazing show and event, we jump right into doing our first podcast AND video recording! So if you have been listening to our podcasts and have been wanting something more, stay tuned for this episode to be released with video!

We jump into the technology of the upcoming plug-in hybrid Wrangler 4xe; the new RAM truck, the TRX; why the TRX doesn’t have a “hellcat” motor; the upcoming Bronco and why shops may jump on straight axle conversions.

We have another great Tech Tip of the Week where we talk about valve stems, air down tools and what to think about when you buy your wheels.

On this day exactly one year ago, we lost an amazing and very special person to so very many of us. We hope that you take a few minutes to reflect and remember the racer, welder, wheeler and very loved friend, Ms. Jessi Combs.

As always, ModernJeeper is extremely grateful to our supporters including Warn WinchesRaceline WheelsBestopMilestar TiresRugged Radios, KMS Adventure Racks, and, of course, Metalcloak.

Corey Osborne Co-creator

After 23 years of corporate life, I decided to pursue my passions in the off road industry. Specializing in marketing, visibility, relationship and brand building, and acting as MetalCloak's field marketing representative, I have travelled across the country (quite a few times!) using Metalcloak’s CTI (Corner Travel Index) to educate the off road enthusiast. I have also worked with Jeep Jamboree USA as event staff, to provide additional value and education to its participants. I've been fortunate enough to work with both international as well as domestic media; have attended most of the off-road events across our country; and have driven a wide variety of vehicles. I'm a certified PADI scuba instructor and have a BS in Computer Science.
