Hello ModernJeepers, welcome to Episode Number 52 of The ModernJeeper Show… the show about Jeeps, Jeeping, Jeepers and King of the Hammers.

This week is pretty much all about King of the Hammers…also known as KOH.

Mr. ModernJeeper Corey Osborne and Matson cover a ton of information about the racers, classes and results from this years week long event held in Johnson Valley, California.

We iron out the classes of the EMC race, or Every Man Challenge, and it’s three classes: 4600 (the stock class), 4500 (stock-mod) and 4800 (legends class).

From there we chat about who did what, how they did what they did, and where we went to capture some great footage for our listeners to see on the website!

In this week’s Tech Tip we talk about survival…survival at KOH! What are the things that you should be doing if you decide to venture out to the race!

And another reminder…we have spots available for the Death Valley Adventure at the end of this month. Check out the registration at ModernJeeperAdventures.com.

As always, ModernJeeper is extremely grateful to our supporters including Warn WinchesRaceline WheelsBestopMilestar TiresRugged Radios, KMS Adventure Racks, and, of course, Metalcloak.

After 23 years of corporate life, I decided to pursue my passions in the off road industry. Specializing in marketing, visibility, relationship and brand building, and acting as MetalCloak's field marketing representative, I have travelled across the country (quite a few times!) using Metalcloak’s CTI (Corner Travel Index) to educate the off road enthusiast. I have also worked with Jeep Jamboree USA as event staff, to provide additional value and education to its participants. I've been fortunate enough to work with both international as well as domestic media; have attended most of the off-road events across our country; and have driven a wide variety of vehicles. I'm a certified PADI scuba instructor and have a BS in Computer Science.
