The ModernJeeper Show – Ep. 140 – Mike Upchurch of Adventure Rack Systems
Podcast November 11, 2021 ModernJeeper
Hello ModernJeepers welcome to Episode 140 of The ModernJeeper Show… the show about Jeeps, Jeeping and Jeepers.
Congratulations again to the winner of the $5000 giveaway, Collin Johnson. We will have Collin on the podcast next week to go over his build, his jeeping history and what his $5000 prize package consists of.
However, this week Corey & Jessy are out ModernJeepin’ with our friends on the ModernJeeper Death Valley Fall Adventure, leaving me alone, once again, twiddling my thumbs at Metalcloak World HQ.
I was able to convince one of our newest team members, Mike Upchurch, to join me for the podcast. Mike recently joined our team as the head of marketing and brand development for Adventure Rack Systems, our Overlanding focused rack brand originally known as Kargo Master Safari.
Mike shares his background including why he lived on a sailboat during high school, how speeding tickets let to the Navy, how he expresses his passion for the outdoors, struggling between his TJ and his Westfalia, driving party boats on the weekend, and how we snagged him for Adventure Rack Systems.
By the way, this episode is going live on Thursday, November 11, 2021, Veteran’s Day and I have a few things to share with you including how you can support one of our favorite Veteran’s Organizations, 4 Wheel 2 Heal.
If you listening and wonder “what the F” are these guys doing? You can see the full video, in all it’s glory at YouTube.com/modernjeeper
As always, we are extremely grateful to our supporters & friends including Warn Winches, Raceline Wheels, Bestop, Milestar Tires, Rugged Radios, Adventure Rack Systems, and, of course, Metalcloak.
So, sit back, relax with a cold one, and enjoy Episode 140 of The ModernJeeper Show…
