With all the speculation about the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL… we almost forgot about the annual tradition by the boys at Jeep Underground to build concepts Jeeps and show them off in Moab, Utah for the annual Easter Jeep Safari.
This year EJS is in April and Jeep did not disappoint. Thanks to our friends at Autoguide.com, we can share some pics of the new concept rigs.
What follows are seven concept Jeeps that will be out playing on the famous slickrock of Moab, Utah later this month…
Grand Cherokee anyone?
Featuring custom hi clearance flares the Jeep Grand One celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Grand
Clean lines, the Jeep Safari has hi clearance fenders… and a unique grill (JL, maybe?)
Translucent doors… Jurassic Park anyone?
All we see is a Land Rover.
Jeep Quicksand… chopped roof, pipes, pretty badass.
Modern Retro Interior
This ain’t your daddy’s Hot Rod. Is that a parachute?
Eight is Enough? Maybe.
Jeep Trailpass takes the Jeep Compass a step further.
Clean design says it all.
The Jeep Luminator is “enlighted” to meet you.
More of a traditional style JK with plastic flares and… lights.
Lights. Yeah.
The CJ66 Concept was first seen last year.
Large flares, big wheel wells and custom bumpers.
Classic CJ lines. Gotta love it – even if they bolted on a second rate rocker.
