One of our fun events to cover and bring back to you in this flashback from last year is the annual Hump ‘n Bump by the Vegas Valley 4-Wheelers, supporting the sport, land use and good times for all.  The Logandale Trail System is an amazing place and we hope you enjoy this look back.

The Editors

The Vegas Valley 4-Wheelers put on an event just outside of Las Vegas, NV, that takes place at the end of the largest automotive industry show on the planet known as SEMA. Hump-n-Bump, as it is called, was started over 30 years ago by a group of friends and is now a 2 day off-road event that explores an awesome area in Logandale, Nevada.

After the craziness that is SEMA, it’s a perfect place to stop and get some real wheeling in and enjoy some of the great folks that put this event together. MetalCloak brought out their CTI (Corner Travel Index) Trailer for the participants to flex their rigs on and get some help (if needed) and recommended improvements ModernJeepers could make to their rigs for better results. Vendors were available after trail runs to answer questions and help anyone that needed it.

Each day there are scheduled trail runs to get out and do some exploring of the wonders that this place has to offer… specifically sand, ledges, rocks, big rocks and even bigger rocks! Spike, my 02′ yellow TJ, even got to spend some time on a few of the roads less travelled in the Logandale Trail system. This place should be on every wheeler’s list of trails to visit!

After 23 years of corporate life, I decided to pursue my passions in the off road industry. Specializing in marketing, visibility, relationship and brand building, and acting as MetalCloak's field marketing representative, I have travelled across the country (quite a few times!) using Metalcloak’s CTI (Corner Travel Index) to educate the off road enthusiast. I have also worked with Jeep Jamboree USA as event staff, to provide additional value and education to its participants. I've been fortunate enough to work with both international as well as domestic media; have attended most of the off-road events across our country; and have driven a wide variety of vehicles. I'm a certified PADI scuba instructor and have a BS in Computer Science.
