ModernJeepers support landuse and keeping trails open — and this unique way created by the Rock Zombies 4×4 Club of Orangevale, CA (Sacramento area) is one not to miss!  The Rock Zombie Bikini Rig Wash will be a blast and has been totally fun in the past. The last one was 2012 and the Rock Zombies figured it was time for a new one.

Funds raised will go towards trails and land-use, including the new, Rubicon Trail Pumper Truck that El Dorado County is currently building.   The pumper truck is needed to keep the many of the permanent outhouses pumped and clean on this icon of a trail.  According to local land use advocates, County staff will build and drive the pumper truck “as often as needed to keep our trail sanitary.  We have waited for years to have good bathrooms on the Rubicon Trail, and this truck will make a huge difference in helping us keep this trail open.”

If you would like to volunteer and help (and no, you don’t have to wear a bikini), just sign-up on Facebook and show up.  If you need your rig, car, truck, Jeep or whatever washed, just bring it and your (voluntary donation).  Pictures and posts are welcomed!

You just never know who might show up to a fun rig wash like this!
