An Event of Events, Trail Hero Celebrates Jeeping, Land Use and Competition Motorsports

Southern Utah came alive (again) with Trail Hero 2018 and these pics tell the tale!

Some Background

Trail hero bills itself as a group of “enthusiasts that want to make a difference in not just our sport but our local economy.”

Using their “two decades of off-road industry experience to tie together a community at risk of losing public land” and using the help of industry and off road advocates they created Trail Hero to “give back to the community.”

Based in Hurricane, Utah, this event covers some amazing trails in coordination with the Utah Public Lands Alliance (UPLA) and Utah 4 Wheel Drive Association (U4WDA). You can learn more about the event and the focus on saving public lands for the public on their website.

Sand Hollow, Utah

Southern Utah is the home of a truly world-class off road arena known as Sand Hollow. Just outside Hurricane, this area has access to all forms of off road trail from “mild to wild” and other incredible amenities including world class resort, 18 hole golf course, and plenty of services and support to get your off road adventure on.

An Event of Events

Besides the trail rides that take place each day during the 4 days, there are events within the event each day as well! Starting with a kick-off party at Sand Hollow Off-Road (59 N 3700 W, Hurricane, UT) on Tuesday; the Lasernut Rock Race on Wednesday; a W.E.ROCK Rock Crawling competition on Thursday; and the Fab Fours Trail Breaker on Friday! Throw in a Beach Party, a charity golf tournament and a vendor show…it makes for a busy and fun filled 4 days!
