The Clovis Independent 4-Wheelers is a local four-wheel drive club, non-profit 501(c)(3). We are affiliated with the California Association of Four Wheel Drive Clubs, Inc., Bald Mountain OHV, Adopt-A-Trail with the Sierra National Forest, Bottom 2 miles of the 4 lanes, Adopt-A-Highway with the State of California. We sponsor the largest regional four wheel poker run for four wheel drive enthusiasts.
This annual poker run was held on Friday , Saturday & Sunday, June 22, 23 & 24, on Bald Mountain just above Shaver Lake. Saturday is a busy day with multiple days runs, the Moonlight Madness night run through the Bald Mountain OHV Trails.
We are a family organization who prides itself on safety and preserving our natural resources. Throughout the year we participate in such things as Clovis Big Hat Days, Clovis Fest and the Children’s Christmas Parade. Because of the generosity and support of Vendors like you to our raffle, we’re able to use the proceeds to donate to local charities and non-profit organizations such as: Cal4Wheel Association, Terry’s House; Madera Rancho Senior Citizen Center; Valley Children’s Center, Camp Elowin, Fresno Veterans Memorial Museum and other local charities. We feel it is important to influence today’s youth with activities that are drug and alcohol free. We want them to experience nature and good clean fun.
As a non-profit organization, such an event as this is only made possible with hard work, many volunteered hours and donations. We realize that the only way to preserve the sport of 4-wheeling is by helping others and teaching others that preservation of our natural resources are important in this sport. We feel that when new 4-wheeling participants join us for our organized event, they will see that you can have fun, preserve our natural resources as well as be safe.
Our 6th annual event will benefit Arkansas Children’s Hospital transport system, Angel One. Last year, Angel One transported more than 2,030 patients, children and high-risk OB patients safely to the hospital. Angel One serves as a lifeline to many, with its ability to get anywhere in the state in 55 minutes or less.
The event will take place on Saturday April 27th at the Saline County Fairgrounds in Benton from 10am-4pm. Our event Champions for Children benefit for Angel One hosted by Salty Jeepers. Attendees can expect food, activities, prizes and a Jeep show.
We are very excited about this event and are expecting between 300-500 jeeps and attendees to come out and join our Jeep fellowship.
MetalCloak Owners Group canopy WILL be there!
