Oscar Wilde said “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.” And it appears that others are joining the party to create something to compete with the Jeep Wrangler.

According to sources, the Suzuki Jimny, a car that loosely resembles the Mercedes-Benz G-Class and offers the off-roading capabilities of a Jeep Wrangler at half the size, and a fraction of the cost, will be available…outside of the US. And you read that right, “the off-roading capabilities of a Jeep Wrangler“…we will let you decide that one

We have a favorite statement about the Jimny that was from an article released in 2019, “…the Jimny is not available in the US but is selling like hotcakes across the rest of the globe, and with good reason; it’s an unstoppable off-road force.”

After 23 years of corporate life, I decided to pursue my passions in the off road industry. Specializing in marketing, visibility, relationship and brand building, and acting as MetalCloak's field marketing representative, I have travelled across the country (quite a few times!) using Metalcloak’s CTI (Corner Travel Index) to educate the off road enthusiast. I have also worked with Jeep Jamboree USA as event staff, to provide additional value and education to its participants. I've been fortunate enough to work with both international as well as domestic media; have attended most of the off-road events across our country; and have driven a wide variety of vehicles. I'm a certified PADI scuba instructor and have a BS in Computer Science.
