Airing down tires before hitting the trail is one of those rituals that we all endure, but don’t necessarily enjoy.

Whether we are about to hit rocks, mud, sand or just bumpy dirt roads, airing down improves your tire’s traction and footprint; gives your kidneys a break with a softer ride; and allows you to traverse more and slip less.

There are several ways to air down your jeep before hitting the trail, from complex tools that remove the valve stem to auto deflators… all of which work while you’re sitting by the side of the trail.

But what if you could air down WHILE you were on the trail?

We found these Trailhead Automatic Tire Deflators that do just that.

Most air down systems involve kneeling and time-consuming moves, but the Trailhead Deflators are extremely easy to use.

Just screw them on, and drive off.

They come preset from the factory to about 13 PSI, but you can adjust from 5 to 20 following the easy to understand instructions.
