Happy Thanksgiving ModernJeepers!

What are you thankful for? It’s Thanksgiving, a time to reflect on the year and the years ending. What are we thankful for? We are thankful for YOU!! You make the difference, you make us thankful! It’s because of you, our followers, our readers, our Jeep Family that enable us to be thankful at all.

The past few years have been a test for all of us, and the next few years will be all of us checking each other’s grades to see how we did.  How about this? How about we guarantee that we pass the test with flying colors? How about we make sure we do everything possible so that the next few years are some of the best yet? How do we do that? It’s actually pretty easy. Be thankful. Be the person that you envision yourself to be. Be kind. Be grateful. Be a Modern Jeeper. A couple of sayings come to mind…”Dance like nobody is watching” and “do the right things even when no one is watching”. It seems pretty simple!

Thankfully we have you all to keep us in line. Fellow Jeepers to help us stay the trail. Our Jeep Family is one amazing group of individuals, couples, brothers, sisters, cousins and acquaintances that just happen to share the same passions that we hold dearly. During this holiday season, we are simply thankful to each and every one of YOU!

THE LIFE THAT MANY WILL NOT EXPERIENCE OR UNDERSTAND:

I own a Jeep because of a personal life choice.

One day when I am very old and when I can not ride anymore, it will not  be in my garage as a trophy of my memories it will be passed down to our grandchildren to make there own , mine memories can never be replaced due that the memories are in my heart

I have met people who taught me something and have the same passion.

I meet people now who get wisdom from me!

I have been wet,

I have been cold,

And I have been hot,

I have spent many hours on the trail with repairs being made and slept on the trail.  

I was afraid, and faced fear in the face and conquered it!!!

I fell,

And I stood up,

I even hurt myself,

But also, I laughed out loud at myself 

I spoke a thousands of times to myself and  speak to my rig!!

I have seen wonderful places because of my jeep!

I have climbed rocks  that even my dad would be proud of; other times I made climbes full of terror.

I stopped many times to see and take photos  of  landscape.

I spoke with perfect strangers and made new friends

I go out on the trail for therapy and return home with  absolute peace in my heart.

I always think how dangerous it is, knowing that the meaning of courage is to advance even facing  fear and conquering it. . 

Every time I go up to my ride I think about how wonderful it is. I learned through gestures to communicate with other off roaders.

I spend money that I do not have, I gave up many things, but it’s all worth it…

My jeep is not a means of transportation but is a piece of iron with tires that I am blessed with, it’s part of who I am.

I love my friends and the joy of great people & Off roading

And to end, a Thanksgiving prayer for all of us

Dear God, I am thankful for all that you provide and all that you do for me and my loved ones and all the friends I have and have made and the ones I will make while enjoying my Jeep.  Please watch over all of us as we experience our next adventure and make sure that we all return home safely,  so that we can ride another day.  There have been times where I get frustrated and times where I may be scared but one thing I know you God will always love me and will be my guiding light.  

In your name lord I pray AMEN!!!!
