Still a Jeep Favorite…The CJ66
Lifestyle November 7, 2017 Corey Osborne
While this Jeep was first released at SEMA in 2016, it appeared again there this year…
It was also one of seven concepts that Jeep and Mopar brought to the 2017 Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. It was constructed using a Wrangler TJ frame, 1966 Jeep Wrangler CJ universal Tuxedo Park body, some Wrangler JK pieces, and a Mopar 345 Crate Hemi Engine Kit-enabled 5.7L Hemi engine. In addition, it has a pair of Mopar Dana 44 Crate axles, Jeep Performance Parts beadlock wheels, six-speed manual transmission, and lots more.
This Jeep is amazing to look at in person. Our friends at Fourwheeler did a write up back in April on this gorgeous rig. What do you think? Can retro cross into today’s vehicles?
